Hi, Malcolm and I went to North Wales to visit my mum's grave, what a dreadful journey, I have found that drivers are just so impatient, driving right close to your bumper and making rude gestures if you don't drive quick enough, although I love my motability car which behaved perfectly, I hated the other drivers any feel reluctant to drive long distances again, totally shattered tonight, aches everywhere love Kimxx

Hi Kim,
I'm sorry you had such an unpleasand trip especially as it must have been a little emotional too. People seem to be in such a hurry to be somewhere else in life ... since I got RA, the one positive I've learned from it is that slow is good and that life need not be rushed at.
Hope you're feeling better today x
Joanna

Oh Kim - how awful for you. I know what you mean, though, about selfish drivers. I'm afraid that if we go any distance, these days Steve drives as I get too wound up.
Take care and rest today.
Love Jeanxxxxx

Dear Kim
I'm sorry to hear about the ignorance you experienced -especially at such an emotional event for you. I agree with Joanna- everyone is in such hurry these days, and so many people seem to show no respect for those of us who have mobility dificulties. I don't drive myself, but frequently get what I call 'pavement rage' when I'm out and about. I really lost it with a woman the other day, who was behind me and pushing me in the back as I was clearly in her way. It was all I could do not to hit her with my stick!
Take care
maria x
